We are so excited to announce and prepare for our 12th Annual Bunco 4 Boobies/Breast Cancer in Darke County! 

 

We rely heavily on the support of local businesses to make this event a huge success! Please consider supporting our milestone 9th annual event BIGGER & BETTER than ever!!

 

This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th, 2024 3pm – 7pm at the Greenville Moose Lodge, 1200 Sweitzer Street, Greenville.

 

Below is an informational sheet explaining the event; including our past accomplishments and our goal for 2024.

 

In order to express our appreciation to all our supporters, your name and/or business name will be listed on large banners at the event as well as on every table.

2023 - 11th Annual Event Goal

  • SURPASS ONE QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS!

2020 - CANCELLED 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DUE TO COVID!

2019 - 10th Annual Event

  • 2019 sold out in less than two hours! We hosted over 320 players! We raised $34,000!!! We were able to help 10 area families and donate $27,000 to the CADC!

2018 - 9th Annual Event

  • 2018 sold out in about a week that year with over 320 registered players! We raised $34,500!! With donations to the CADC and five area families!

2017 - 8th Annual Event

  • Once again we had over 300 registered players and over 200 event supporters!  Fortunately we were able to donate $26,500 to CADC AGAIN and 4 local families.  

2016 - 7th Annual Event

  • We had over 300 registered players, over 230 event supporters, over 350 door prizes & raffle items and sold over 200 T-shirts and sweatshirts!  We were able to donate $26,500 to CADC and 4 local families!

2015 – 6th Annual Event -

  • We had over 320 registered players, over 200 event supporters, over 350 door prizes & raffle items, and sold over 230 T-shirts!

  • Donations in the amount of $31,000 given to the CADC and 4 local families. 

2014 – 5th Annual Event -

  • We had over 300 registered players, over 200 event supporters, over 300 door prizes & raffle items, and sold over 200 T-shirts!

  • Donations in the amount of $23,000 given to the CADC and a local family.

2013 – 4th Annual Event -

  • We had 300 women and men registered to play Bunco.

  • Donations in the amount of $22,000 given to the CADC and 2 local families

2012 – 3rd Annual Event –

  • We had over 250 women and men registered to play Bunco.

  • Donations in the amount of $14,370 given to the CADC and 4 local families.

2011 – 2nd Annual Event –

  • We had a total of 130 women and men registered to play Bunco.

  • Donation in the amount of $6,775 given to the CADC.

2010 – First Year for the Event -

  • Organized because good friend Kelly Fourman was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 

  • We had 132 women registered to play Bunco.

  • Donations in the amount of $5,000 given to the CADC and a local family.

HOW DO WE RAISE MONEY?

How do we raise the money?

  • Registrations - $25/player

  • Sold event shirts with logo

  • Table Sponsorship’s  “In Memory or In Honor of” - $25/table

  • Raffles Tickets

  • Door Prizes

OUR GOALS...

 

Our goal for this year is to be able to continue to raise money for the Cancer Association of Darke County and make our event bigger and better!

 

Past Raffle items have been as follow:

 

  • DD Cup items have included - Laptops, iPods, iPad with Docking Station, iPad Minis, Flat Screen TV's, Bulova Watch, Gold & Diamond Earrings, Kindle Fire, Tropical Destination Trip, Airfare, Athlete Training Package, Visa Gift Cards, Huge Beauty Product & Service Gift Baskets, Cash and much, much more!

  • A Cup items have included - Sporting Event Tickets, Small Appliances, Cash Booklets, Services, Gift Baskets from Local Salon’s and Home Entrepreneurs such as Pampered Chef, Avon, Premier Jewelry, Mary Kay and Thirty-One, to name just a few. Also, gift certificates from local and national businesses including Thai 9, Victoria’s Secret, Troutwine’s, Cheese Cake Factory, Miller’s Tavern, Applebee’s and more.

     

We accept Door Prizes from whomever would like to donate.
